Hi everyone.
Every day, the Albany Damien Center works to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and to prevent new infections in the community we serve. I'm proud to work here and to see my efforts result in real improvement in the lives of our 400 members living with HIV/AIDS, and 100 clients who are at the highest risk of infection
When Rowan and I attended an HIV/AIDS event in Albany last year, someone said: "Wouldn't it be great for your son to grow up and have to ask you what AIDS was?". That's really stuck with me. Let's work to End the Epidemic in his lifetime, shall we?
Help me by donating to my fundraiser, and by sharing it to your networks. Whether you can contribute or not, I hope you can join us at our AIDS Walk & Festival on April 13, 2019, at Washington Park in Albany.
Thank you for your support.
The AIDS Walk & Festival is a community event in Washington Park to increase awareness about HIV/AIDS and raise money to help people living with and affected by the disease. This inspiring event calls on people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and learn how we can End the AIDS Epidemic in New York once and for all!
The event will be fun-filled, informative, and family friendly, with a scavenger hunt walk, free food and entertainment, community resources and local businesses, and much more. All donations support the programs and services at the Albany Damien Center.
